The Memorial Cemetery of St. John’s Church

Et Audierent Qui Vivent

A quiet, wooded burial ground, shaped by the Olmsted Brothers and cared for by the people of St. John’s Episcopal Church.

The Memorial Cemetery of St. John’s Church lies on a hill and valley of old trees, stone walls, and winding drives. In the early twentieth century the church asked the Olmsted Brothers, landscape architects from the family that designed Central Park, to shape its grounds, and many of the quiet family “rooms” they designed are still here today.

The cemetery is open to all visitors, whether you have come to remember someone you love or to learn about the history and the landscape. Burial plots are made available to members of St. John’s Church and to the children of those already buried here.
